Facebook News Updates

  • Facebook Launches Reels for Facebook – Users can now post short-form videos on Facebook (similar to TikToks). These can also be cross-posted from Instagram providing brands with more reach for video content they create.
  • Facebook Updates Ad Reach Estimates – These are now broader than before, so when running an add you’ll get a much bigger range on your reach. This is unfortunate for advertisers, but the previous numbers also lacked accuracy, so this may not be a big change after all.

Instagram News Updates

LinkedIn Updates

  • LinkedIn Launches Creators Fund of $25Million – LinkedIn has launched a number of features for creators over the past few years, however, monetization has been missing. LinkedIn launched a fund to compensate creators and accelerate their success.
  • LinkedIn Launches Articles for Pages, Integrated Events and Better Metrics – This quarter LinkedIn is launching a number of features to enhance the Pages experience. Articles for Pages allows pages to post long-format content – this can include reposting articles from your blog to grow exposure. The events platform is also getting new features including sponsoring in-stream events. Finally LinkedIn will provide better measurement and reporting including access to brand lift studies to measure the effectiveness of marketing on the platform.
