What is Facebook Audience Insights
Facebook Audience Insights is a part of Facebook Business Manager. It allows you to see information about different audiences or groups on Facebook. You can learn about your fans or any audience or group on Facebook. For example you could learn more about people who are interested in industry publications, topics or based on behaviors.
To use Facebook Audience Insights you start by identifying the audience that you want to learn more about. It could be:
- People who like your Page
- Behaviour Based
Once you have selected the group you wan to learn about Facebook will show you how big the group is as well as key information about that group.
What you Can Learn from Audience Insights
Audience Insights allows you to select a Facebook audience and then for the audience selected Facebook will show you the size of the audience as well as some basic demographics and their interests. For example you can learn more about your Facebook Fans and see their:
- Other Pages they like
How you Can Use Audience Insights for your Business
Audience Insights allows you to learn about your target audience – beyond what you think you know and to begin to explore more about them. For example, you can use audience insights to discover:
- Top influencers of your fans or in your industry
- Other affinity Pages or Interests that your fans have
- Interests of people who are interested in your subject area
- Top Pages followed by people interested in your subject area.
