A recent Twitter update for both Twitter.com as well as Android and iPhone apps puts tweets in a single conversation in chronological order. LinkedIn has more than 2 million groups with more than 8,000 created weekly. Take advantage of them to interact with other professionals in your industry and build connections around the world. This new design makes it a little easier to see what a group is about and what’s going on quickly.
If you’re an administrator to a group, take advantage of the changes and add a creative banner that applies to your industry.
Why does this matter to you?
For your personal Facebook account, you can add friends to contribute to albums – clearly useful for big events like vacations, parties, weddings, and the like. As of now, there’s no talk of anything similar coming to Facebook Pages.
